The Odisha Government has approved several projects in the state. In ethanol sector, Maa Chinnamastika Energy will invest Rs 104 crore in a grain-based ethanol plant, while IMFA (Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys) Ltd will establish a grain-based ethanol plant in Rayagada with an investment of Rs 139.9 crore.
Additionally, investments will be made in the compressed biogas sector. Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited will invest Rs 200 crore in a compressed biogas and fermented organic manure plant, while Reliance Bio Energy will set up two plants—one in Sonepur and another in Sambalpur—each with an investment of Rs 121.21 crore.
Neptunus Ship Builders & Recyclers will establish an integrated ship recycling industry with an investment of Rs 934.54 crore.
