Proman Stena launches methanol-fueled joint venture chemical tanker in Singapore

Hercules Sky to supply biofuels in Gibraltar Strait

Peninsula, a marine fuels solutions company, has welcomed into its expanding fleet, Hercules Sky, a two year old oil chemical tanker. According to a Peninsula’s post, Hercules Sky has a tank capacity of 9000cbm and her pump rate is above 500cbm/hr. This barge will allow Peninsula to strengthen its physical operation in the Gibraltar Strait.

LNG dual fuel chemical tanker launched

Japan’s Fukuoka Shipbuilding has launched a new chemical tanker for U.S. based shipping company Fairfield Chemical Carriers (FCC). The newly built Fairchem Pioneer is FCC’s first liquefied natural gas (LNG) dual-fuel stainless steel chemical tanker.
