ARIPL to power up 700 MWp solar project

Amara Raja Infra (ARIPL) has been awarded a 700 MWp solar balance of system (BoS) project by Greenko. Greenko will situate the project across a 2,200-acre site near Uyyalavada in Andhra Pradesh’s Kurnool district. ARIPL will handle the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of the entire BoS for the solar component. This project marks ARIPL’s largest solar capacity project to date and will significantly enhance its order book, which was valued at Rs 1,516 crore for Q4/FY24.

Greenko’s renewable energy initiative aims to create the world’s first and largest GW-scale project incorporating solar, wind, and pumped-storage components. ARIPL, known for its expertise in power and civil projects, will provide design and EPC services for the solar project.
