Wärtsilä Water & Waste, a division of the Wärtsilä technology group, has announced a new partnership with DHL Supply Chain.
Under this agreement, DHL will oversee the warehousing and logistical operations for spare parts, aiming to further enhance the efficiency of Wärtsilä Water & Waste’s supply chain and bolster operational capabilities in anticipation of the business’s upcoming sale.
This collaboration aligns with Wärtsilä Water & Waste’s strategic objectives to prepare the business for operational independence while maintaining the high-quality service associated with the Wärtsilä name. The partnership is expected to reduce lead times and improve efficiencies for both existing and future customers.
