Fortescue Future Industries (FFI), an Australian company, is funding an initiative by PsiQuantum to develop green hydrogen at a lower cost.
As part of the collaboration, FFI and Qlimate’s will together work on quantum solutions in the green hydrogen sector.
The joint effort will help in creating a broader strategy for developing computing algorithms that will solve impediments in the modelling of Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) technology and pulse electrolysis.
FFI aims to reach an annual green hydrogen production of 15 million tonnes by 2030 and 50 million tonnes by 2040.
