The China Classification Society (CCS) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Accelleron Industries to establish a long-term cooperative relationship in products R&D, products inspection, condition-based maintenance of marine equipment, development of green fuels for marine power, upgrading and renovation of existing marine methanol and ammonia fueled engines, and other energy efficiency improvement solutions, application of solid-state fuel cells and 3D printing technology in ships, as well as in ship digitization.
Accelleron is the independent spin-off from ABB of its Turbocharging business.
