MAN Energy Solutions has re-joined SEA-LNG, a coalition dedicated to the commercial and environmental benefits of LNG for maritime applications.
Based in Germany, MAN Energy Solutions provides propulsion solutions for liquefied natural gas (LNG) marine applications. With a focus on sustainability, the company ensures that its technology is fully compatible with Net Zero biomethane and e-methane.
MAN ES’s technical expertise adds to the technical skills and experience of SEA-LNG members, already achieving reductions in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
MAN Energy Solutions initially joined the SEA-LNG coalition in October 2017, but later left.
Welcoming the company back to the coalition, Peter Keller, Chairman of SEA-LNG, said that MAN Energy Solutions’ experience and insights will be “critical” to ensuring LNG, biomethane, and e-methane firmly take their place in the basket of alternative marine fuels.
