MSC and DB Schenker enter into biofuels deal

Mediterranean Shipping Co (MSC) and freight forwarder DB Schenker have sealed a deal that aims to slash carbon emissions by using second-generation biofuels. MSC orders 10 LNG ships

Container shipping major MSC has ordered ten LNG-fuelled boxships. Shipbrokers say that the order involves Neopanamax vessels (11,400 TEU) and that the company is paying around $120 million per vessel.
