World-first green hydrogen ferry project commences

Gladstone on Queensland’s central coast is positioned to have one of Australia’s first green hydrogen-powered passenger ferries after the state government promised $5 million from its $35 million Hydrogen Industry Development Fund (HIDF) for SeaLink to design and build the boat. The total cost of the project is estimated at $20.6 million. SeaLink chief operating
