Polish Delegation and JKSH Group Explore Green Energy Project in Andhra Pradesh

A Polish delegation and representatives from the JKSH Group held discussions with Andhra Pradesh Minister for Mines, Geology and Excise, Kollu Ravindra, regarding plans to establish a green energy facility near the Machilipatnam port. The proposed investment is valued at approximately Rs 35,000 crore.

According to the state government, the minister expressed support for the project, highlighting the strategic location of the port, its infrastructure and transport connectivity as key enablers for large-scale industrial development. The proposed green energy facility is expected to focus on the production of green hydrogen and ammonia.

The delegation was assured that land would be made available near the port to facilitate the project. The plant is expected to create an estimated 10,000 jobs, contributing to employment generation in the region.

Discussions are expected to continue as the stakeholders move forward with feasibility and planning assessments for the renewable energy initiative.
