Over 75% of all tankers, bulkers and containerships will not be Energy Efficiency Existing Index (EEXI) compliant set by the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
According to a new report from VesselsValue, the date set by IMO for EEXI compliance has only 163 days left to come into play.
The study says that shipowner’s do not yet know their EEXI scores should find it out early and this is the only way to guarantee a smooth compliance journey to use the information to start planning.
