World Fuel Services, through its subsidiary Gib Fuels, has begun bunkering biofuels in Gibraltar in conjunction with GoodFuels. The first bio-bunkering took place in October, supplying renewable diesel to a Norwegian cruise lines vessel. GoodFuels recently supplied 100% marine biofuel to an Aida cruise ship. Cruise lines are taking a keen interest in biofuels to help reduce their carbon footprints and be more attractive to potential customers.
