Chimbusco Pan Nation (CPN) has achieved a regional milestone with the successful delivery of B30 Marine Gasoil (B30 MGO) in Hong Kong. The fuel blend, which contains 30 percent biodiesel and 70 percent conventional marine gasoil, was supplied to Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) on 11 July 2025.
This marks the first time OOCL has received this type of fuel in the region and highlights a significant step forward in reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainability within the maritime sector.
CPN, which has established itself as a leading supplier of green marine fuels in East Asia, is the first company in the region to offer a full range of ISCC EU certified biofuels, including marine fuel and gas oil. The successful completion of this delivery further reinforces the company’s role in supporting the shipping industry’s shift toward low carbon operations.
The operation also included the concurrent supply of B30 High Sulphur Marine Fuel Oil, demonstrating CPN’s ability to manage complex bunkering logistics. The dual-grade delivery reflects the operational capabilities of the CPN team and their technical proficiency in meeting evolving customer requirements. This initiative adds to the growing list of efforts aimed at accelerating the maritime industry’s energy transition and meeting international sustainability goals.
