Lhyfe has entered into a multi-year agreement to supply renewable hydrogen to an undisclosed operator in the hydrogen heavy-mobility sector. The contract, effective from 1 November 2025, covers the delivery of more than 200 tonnes of hydrogen certified as Renewable Fuel of Non-Biological Origin (RFNBO) — the European Union’s most stringent standard for renewable hydrogen.
According to Lhyfe, the volume contracted is sufficient to support over 2.5 million kilometres of hydrogen-powered truck operations and could help avoid approximately 1,700 tonnes of CO₂ emissions.
Matthieu Guesné, Founder and CEO of Lhyfe, said: “The decarbonisation of heavy mobility through hydrogen is not an option — it’s a necessity. While some continue to debate the pros and cons of electric batteries versus hydrogen, or question the maturity and sustainability of the model, we are investing, acting, and making the decarbonisation of freight transport a tangible reality. From now on, the movement can only accelerate.”
The company positioned the deal as part of its broader strategy to scale renewable hydrogen production for industrial and transport applications across Europe.
