Global port services and software as a service provider S5 Agency World is providing global hub and port agency support to Proman for its first methanol-fuelled tankers.
This follows successfully co-ordinating two new methanol-powered vessels Stena Pro Patria and Stena Pro Marine during their first call at the Port of Ulsan.
S5 Agency World controls more than 360 port-owned offices strategically located in all major maritime hubs. The group can facilitate port calls worldwide including alternative marine fuels and the technical challenges these bring, one of the reason Proman and Proman Stena Bulk engaged the company for their new methanol-powered vessels.
Digitalisation was used to eliminate errors and workloads were streamlined to ensure commercial information is readily available to those that need it.
S5 has worked with Proman for more than a decade, integrating its technology solutions into Proman’s finance and operations software and acts as a key partner to the business.
