Strategic Marine Delivers Two 42m Gen 4 Fast Crew Boats to NMDC LTS

Strategic Marine has delivered two 42-metre Generation 4 Fast Crew Boats (FCBs) to NMDC LTS, marking the company’s first vessel delivery to the Middle Eastern marine and offshore services provider. The handover expands Strategic Marine’s footprint in the region and reflects growing demand for next-generation crew transfer solutions.

First Delivery to NMDC LTS Strengthens Regional Position

The vessels were constructed in partnership with Prima Marine, Strategic Marine’s long-standing collaborator in Southeast Asia. The delivery represents a new customer relationship for Strategic Marine in the Middle East, one of the world’s most active offshore energy markets.

Vessels Designed for Fuel Efficiency and Offshore Adaptability

Developed in collaboration with Southerly Designs, the 42-metre Gen 4 FCBs feature an updated hull form intended to improve fuel efficiency and reduce emissions — key considerations for operators navigating tightening sustainability expectations in the offshore sector.

The vessels are fitted with:

• A Gyro Stabilizer system for enhanced roll reduction and improved safety during crew transfers.
• Seating for up to 80 personnel, designed for comfort during long transits.
• Reinforced cargo decks to support a range of offshore operations.

Both FCBs are built with future adaptability in mind, with provisions for hybrid propulsion integration and compatibility with walk-to-work or motion-compensated gangway systems.
