At Laem Chabang Port in Sriracha, Chonburi, Bangchak Sriracha (BSRC) delivered B24 Marine Biofuel, weighing 470 metric tons, to the IRIS LEADER (NYK LINE). The B24 Marine Biofuel, which is made up of 0.5% S Very Low Sulfur Fuel Oil (VLSFO) and 24% UCOME (Used Cooking Oil Methyl Ester), is a low-emission substitute that does not require any changes to ship engines or fueling infrastructure.
The Group CEO and President of Bangchak Corporation attended the occasion with senior Bangchak and BSRC executives. NYK Trading Corporation (Japan) Executive Officer and NYK Trading Corporation Senior Sales Manager were also in attendance.
