Varroc Engineering Wins Long-Term Contract for High-Voltage EV Electronics

Varroc Engineering Limited has secured a major contract to supply high-voltage electronics for an electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, strengthening the company’s presence in the fast-expanding global e-mobility market.

Key Contract Components

Under the agreement, Varroc will provide a suite of high-voltage systems for high-performance e-powertrain applications. The scope includes:

  • Power electronics units
  • Inverters
  • Onboard chargers
  • Battery management systems (BMS)
  • DC–DC converters

Production will take place at the company’s facility in Romania, which will cater to global quality and delivery standards.

Scope and Duration

The contract extends across eight years. Based on projected volumes, Varroc plans to establish a peak annual production capacity valued at INR 8,000 million.

Strategic Context

The win marks a notable step in Varroc’s expansion in the global passenger vehicle electronics segment. It also aligns with the company’s strategy to grow its portfolio in electronics, lighting, and electric powertrain solutions for international automotive OEMs.

According to Varroc, the agreement reinforces the firm’s capabilities in advanced electronics manufacturing and its broader role within the EV supply chain.
