According to the media reports reports, Veritas Petroleum Services (VPS) has launched its APS-BIO service to give biofuel users “peace of mind” by assuring everything from legislative compliance to asset protection and operational efficiency. VPS said it launched the new service that includes laboratory testing and advisory support in light of the speed with which the market is running towards drop-in options for shipping decarbonization. It says that the difference in marine biofuels’ chemistry and behavior compared to fossil-based marine fuels can lead to uncertainty.
