Alpine Ethanol intends to set up a grain-based distillery/ethanol plant with a capacity of 200 klpd at Hiremallapura village in Gadag district of Karnataka. The proposed unit will cover over 35.88 acres of land parcel.
It is reported that Alpine Ethanol is awaiting environmental clearance (EC) and expects to commence work on the project in Q3/FY24.
The contractor and machinery supplier are yet to be finalised, and completion of the project is scheduled for November, 2024.
