Euler Motors Launches 1-Tonne Electric Mini Truck Turbo EV 1000

Indian electric vehicle manufacturer Euler Motors has introduced the Turbo EV 1000, a 1-tonne electric mini truck aimed at the commercial vehicle market. The company has positioned the model as combining extended range with cost advantages over diesel alternatives.

The Turbo EV 1000 is priced from ₹5.99 lakh ex-showroom and is offered in three variants: CITY at ₹5.99 lakh, MAXX at ₹7.19 lakh, and FAST CHARGE at ₹8.19 lakh. Financing plans are available with down payments starting from ₹49,999 and equated monthly installments from ₹10,000.

The truck offers a real-world range of 140 to 170 kilometers per charge. It is equipped with 140 Nm torque output, 230 mm disc brakes, and an R13 wheel platform. Fast-charging technology using CCS2 standards allows the addition of up to 50 kilometers of range within 15 minutes at public charging stations.

According to Euler Motors, the vehicle can deliver annual savings of around ₹1.15 lakh compared to diesel-powered alternatives. The company attributes this to lower fuel and maintenance costs and an overall favorable total cost of ownership profile.

“The launch addresses practical needs within India’s logistics industry while supporting the transition to sustainable mobility,” said Saurav Kumar, Founder and CEO of Euler Motors. He added that the timing aligns with policy developments at state and national levels that are reshaping commercial fleet economics.

The Turbo EV 1000 is the company’s third product and its second four-wheeler commercial vehicle, following the Storm EV. Euler Motors has integrated nine innovations into the new model, focusing on performance and operational efficiency.

Commercial electric vehicle adoption in India remains limited, with penetration at about 2 percent of the market. Key challenges include initial purchase costs, availability of charging infrastructure, and concerns over driving range. The company is targeting small fleet operators and individual entrepreneurs who operate with narrow profit margins.

The launch comes as government initiatives provide incentives for electric vehicles in the commercial sector through subsidies, financing support, and regulatory frameworks designed to encourage cleaner transportation.
