NTPC begins the work for a hydrogen hub in Andhra Pradesh to set up manufacturing facilities for a hydrogen hub in Andhra Pradesh. The plant will provide manufacturing facilities for equipment, production and export of green hydrogen as well as green ammonia.
The state-owned company has entered in a non-binding MoU has been signed with the Government of Andhra Pradesh for development of hydrogen hub near Vishakhapatnam.
NTPC is also planning to come up with initial public offering for its renewable energy arm NTPC Green Energy Ltd (NGEL) to raise funds along with some kind of strategy sale initiative.
