Agronex Bio Fuels is planning to set up a grain-based ethanol unit with a capacity of 75 klpd at Shinawad village, Aravalli in Sabar Kantha district of Gujarat.
The proposed unit will spread over 19.55 acres of land parcel, and also includes installation of a 2.5 MW co-generation power plant.
In November 2022, Agronex Bio Fuels received environmental clearance (EC) for the project.
As per the information shared with Projects Today, the company is in the process of selecting a contractor and machinery supplier for the project. The work on the project is expected to commence by May 2023.
