Norwegian maritime services company Buksér og Berging has taken delivery of a hybrid offshore tugboat built by Türkiye’s Uzmar Shipyard.
The vessel, named Bube Power, is a RAmpage 4100BB-H hybrid tugboat designed by Canadian naval architect Robert Allan. It measures 41.2 meters in length with a beam of 14.5 meters.
Propulsion is provided by two 2,800 kW main engines and two 900 ekW electric shaft generators, giving the tugboat a bollard pull capacity of 120 tonnes. The propulsion and automation systems were supplied by Berg Propulsion, while Kongsberg Maritime delivered the advanced winch system.
The vessel is expected to support offshore operations requiring high bollard pull capacity alongside reduced emissions enabled by its hybrid design.
