GEODIS Releases 2024 Activity and Sustainability Report, Reaffirms Climate Commitment

GEODIS has released its 2024 Activity and Sustainability Report, offering a comprehensive overview of the Group’s operational achievements and progress toward its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) objectives.

Structured in three sections, the report outlines the logistics provider’s performance over the past year, with a focus on strategic planning and responsible growth. The first section details GEODIS’s 2024 business activity, presenting key figures, the company’s value creation model, and developments within its Ambition 2027 strategic plan. It also elaborates on the Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) roadmap.

The second section is dedicated to GEODIS’s CSR policies, highlighting milestones and initiatives undertaken in 2024 across environmental, social, and ethical dimensions. This includes updates on decarbonization goals, employee engagement, and sustainable business practices.

The final portion of the report presents GEODIS’s performance metrics, aligned with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). The company engaged EY, an independent firm, to verify the data disclosed under the CSRD framework, underscoring its commitment to transparency and accountability.

Commenting on the report, GEODIS CEO Marie-Christine Lombard said, “With our Ambition 2027 plan, we place innovation, performance, and responsibility at the heart of our strategy. In 2024, the validation of our decarbonization goals by the Science Based Targets initiative marked a major milestone. We aim for a 42% reduction in emissions from our direct activities by 2030, aligned with the Paris Agreement. It is by combining operational excellence and environmental responsibility that we are building a sustainable logistics model that serves both our clients and the planet.” The report reflects GEODIS’s ongoing efforts to integrate sustainability into its core business operations, with a clear focus on climate action, ethical conduct, and long-term value creation.
