Marine fuel sales at Singapore port increased by 2.5% on year during October 2021, according to Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) data.
In total, 4.25 million metric tonnes (mt) (exact 4,254,700 mt) of various marine fuels were sold at the world’s largest bunkering port in October, an increase from 4.15 million mt (4,152,400 mt) recorded during October 2020.
Deliveries of 500 centistokes (cSt), 380 cSt and 180 cSt grades in October 2021 (against on year) were respectively 88,700 mt (+13% from 78,600 mt), 1,092,900 mt (+8.7% from 1,005,800 mt), while 180 cSt product recorded no sales in October 2021 and 2020.
Low sulphur variants of 500 cSt, 380 cSt and 180 cSt products in October 2021 (against on year) posted respectively no sales, 2.08 million mt (-6.7% from 2.23 million), 104,600 mt (+896% from 10,500 mt).
Low sulphur 100 cSt recorded sales of 518,000 mt (+12% from 462,400 mt) and ULSFO had no sales in October.
Low Sulphur marine gas oil (LS MGO) sales were posted at 308,600 mt (-6% from 328,400 mt) and MGO at 39,100 mt (+18% from 33,200 mt).
