Inchcape Shipping Services has released its 2025 Responsibility and Beyond Report, outlining progress in integrating environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles across its global operations and maritime services.
The report details the company’s performance in areas including workplace safety, greenhouse gas emissions management, ethical business practices and support for customers pursuing sustainability objectives.
Focus on Safety, Emissions and Governance
According to the report, Inchcape continued to strengthen its global safety culture through targeted initiatives, including its StaySafe 360° programme, aimed at improving operational safety across its worldwide network.
The company also established a verified greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions baseline aligned with internationally recognised reporting standards, providing a foundation for tracking future emissions reductions.
In addition, the report highlights ongoing efforts to reinforce integrity, transparency and accountability throughout the organisation.
Supporting the Transition to Lower-Carbon Shipping
Inchcape said it is continuing to advance its long-term objective of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.
The company is working with customers, suppliers and industry partners to support lower-carbon maritime operations through improved operational practices and collaboration across the shipping value chain.
ESG Support for Customers and Supply Chains
The report also outlines how Inchcape aims to help customers and partners meet their own ESG targets by providing safer operational practices, enhanced data visibility and more sustainable supply chain solutions.
As environmental reporting and emissions reduction requirements continue to evolve across the maritime industry, shipping service providers are increasingly expanding ESG initiatives to support vessel operators, ports and cargo owners in achieving their sustainability goals.
