A bio-ethanol plant at Sarvepalli in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh will be set up by Krishak Bharathi Co-operative Limited (KRIBHCO). This was announced by AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy after a meeting of the State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB).
The plant will be set up in two tranches with Rs 560 crore ($7.24 mn) with a plant capacity of 250 KLD. It will be set up on a 100 acres land and would employ about 400 people.
